Trash Collection Days

• Trash collection occurs once per week on a designated day depending on your address.

• The city is divided into 6 collection zones. See the collection zone map to find your assigned zone and day.

• Collection days are Monday through Friday based on your zone.

Trash Collection Times

• For alley service – place items by 6 AM on the first day of your zone’s week.

• For curbside service – call to schedule pickup by 3 PM the Friday before your zone’s week. Place items by 6 AM on the first day.

• Regular household trash must be in bags inside bins. Uncontained items are collected separately.

Uncontained Trash Pickup

Uncontained trash that is too large for bins is collected around once every 6 weeks based on your zone. This includes:

• Tree limbs
• Furniture
• Mattresses
• Appliances
• Carpet
• Other bulky items

Other Waste Disposal

• Christmas Trees – Drop off for recycling at 6 locations Dec 22 – Jan 12.

• Household Hazardous Waste – Drop off at Recycle Casa Grande facility.

• Bulk Tires – Drop off at city’s Waste Tire Collection Center.

• Appliances – Schedule pickup for $30 Freon removal fee.

• Electronics – Recycle at city’s E-Waste Collection Center.

Recycling Collection

• Recycling bins are collected along with trash on your designated day.

• See list of accepted recyclables. Do not bag recyclables.

• Extra recycling can be placed in boxes or paper bags next to your bin.

Collection Guidelines

• Bag all trash and tie bags to prevent spills.

• Keep 3 feet of clearance around bins.

• Face bins with wheels and handles toward the street.
