Holiday Schedule

No trash, recycling, or green waste pickup occurs on these holidays:

• New Year’s Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day

If your normal collection day falls on a holiday, pickup will be delayed by one day that week. So Monday collection moves to Tuesday, Tuesday to Wednesday, etc.

Collection Overview

• Garbage – Household trash, food waste, etc. placed in black bins
• Recycling – Paper, cardboard, bottles, cans, plastics in blue bins
• Green waste – Grass clippings, leaves, branches, etc. placed loose in green bins

No plastic bags can be used in recycling or green waste bins. Garbage bins are collected weekly while recycling and green waste alternate every other week.

Contamination Fees

To avoid fees, only approved materials can be placed in each bin:

• Black bin: Garbage only
• Blue bin: Recyclables only
• Green bin: Green waste only

Contaminating any bin with improper materials may result in a $35 fee added to your utility bill.

Missed Pickups

Report any missed trash, recycling, or green waste pickups before 9 AM the next day by calling (559) 924-6744 ext. 744. Each resident can receive one courtesy pickup per year. Additional pickups incur a fee.

Large Items

To dispose of large items like furniture that don’t fit in your bins, request a bulk pickup. Fees may apply.

Drop-Off Recycling

Additional recycling drop-off bins are located at the Lemoore Corporation Yard at 711 West Cinnamon Drive. Items like oil, batteries, and light bulbs can also be recycled here.
