Collection Days

  • Monday: Areas south of Lake Ave to 10th Ave South, and from I-95 to the Intracoastal.

  • Tuesday: Areas north of Lake Ave to 6th Ave North, and from I-95 to the Intracoastal.

  • Wednesday: Areas west of I-95 to Lake Osborne.

  • Thursday: Areas east of the Intracoastal to the Beach, and the Island of Palm Beach.

  • Friday: Areas north of 6th Ave North to the C-51 Canal.

Holiday Schedule

  • Trash and recycling are collected on all holidays except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

  • Service is not rescheduled for these holidays. Service resumes on your next regularly scheduled collection day.

Trash Collection

  • Limit of 12 bags or cans per collection, not exceeding 50 pounds each.

  • Trash must be placed curbside in bags, cans, or tied bundles before 7:00 AM on collection day.

  • Cans or bundles over 50 pounds will not be collected.

Recycling Collection

  • One 95-gallon rolling cart provided for recycling. Extra recycling can be placed in bags or cans next to cart.

  • Recyclables include plastic bottles, jugs, jars, aluminum & steel cans, paper, cardboard, and glass bottles/jars.

  • Check acceptable materials list before recycling.

  • Do not bag recyclables. Place loose in cart.

  • Cart and extra recycling must be placed curbside before 7:00 AM on collection day.

Vegetation Collection

  • Vegetation includes palm fronds, tree branches, shrub trimmings, grass clippings.

  • Vegetation must be cut to 4 feet bundles and tied for collection.

  • Place vegetation curbside before 7:00 AM on collection day.

  • Limit of 12 vegetation bundles per collection, not exceeding 50 pounds each. Excess fees may apply.

Bulk Item Collection

  • Bulk items include furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, tires (limit 4), and other large items.

  • Limit of 2 cubic yards of bulk items per collection.

  • Place bulk items curbside before 7:00 AM on your collection day.

  • Doors must be removed from appliances. Tires must be off rims.

Hazardous Waste

  • Hazardous waste like chemicals, batteries, fluorescent bulbs, paints, pesticides, etc. cannot be disposed with regular trash.

  • Drop off hazardous waste at the Hazardous Waste Center for proper disposal.

Missed Collections

  • Report any missed collections by 4:00 PM on the scheduled day to guarantee same day pickup.

  • Collection crews cannot pick up missed collections reported after 4:00 PM. Service will resume on the next scheduled collection day.
