Inclement Weather
During major snowstorms or hazardous conditions, trash pickup may be delayed. Service will resume on the next possible day once conditions allow.

For oversized items like furniture and appliances, call HBS at least 1 business day before your pickup day to schedule removal. Items must be placed curbside.
Extra Trash Bag Fees
- $3.50 per extra trash bag outside of toter
- 3 extra bags allowed per week
Recycling Schedule
Single-stream recycling pickup occurs every other week on the same day as your trash collection. One 96-gallon recycling toter is provided.

Elbert County Landfill and Recycling Center

- Saturday, 8 AM to 2 PM
Recyclables can be dropped off for free. Trash disposal fees apply. Hazardous waste collection events are held periodically.
