The following 6 holidays impact trash and recycling collection in Anne Arundel County:

• New Year’s Day (January 1)
• Memorial Day (Last Monday in May)
• Independence Day (July 4)
• Labor Day (First Monday in September)
• Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday in November)
• Christmas Day (December 25)

On these holidays, there will be no curbside trash or recycling collection.

Adjusted Collection Schedule

If your regular collection day falls on or after a holiday, your pickup will be delayed by one day. For example:

• If your regular collection day is Monday and the holiday is on Monday, your pickup will be on Tuesday that week.
• If your regular collection day is Friday and the holiday is on Monday, your pickup will be on Saturday that week.
