Overview
- Trash collection occurs weekly on designated days depending on location.
- Recycling is collected bi-weekly on the same day as trash.
- Collection services are suspended on major holidays.
Trash Collection
- Trash is collected once per week. Collection days are determined by location:
- Monday: Downtown, Northeast, Ocean View
- Tuesday: West, North
- Wednesday: East
- Thursday: South
- Trash must be placed curbside in city-issued carts before 7AM on collection day.
- Extra trash must be in bags or cans next to carts. Bagged yard waste is collected on trash day.

Recycling Collection
- Recycling is collected bi-weekly on the same day as trash.
- Recyclables must be placed curbside in city-issued recycling carts before 7AM.
- Accepted items include paper, cardboard, metal cans, plastic bottles/jugs, glass bottles/jars. No bags.
