Bulk Pickup Guidelines
Follow these guidelines for bulk trash placement:
- Items must be placed curbside no earlier than 48 hours before pickup, or 72 hours if it includes a weekend.
- Do not place bulk items blocking storm drains, mailboxes, fire hydrants, or utility poles.
- It is prohibited to place bulk trash on any property other than your own.
- Cut/bundle branches, limbs, and logs into 4 foot sections under 50 lbs.
- Remove all Freon and tag appliances like refrigerators and AC units.
- Limit tires to 5 per collection with rims less than 25 inches.

Hazardous Waste Disposal
Household hazardous waste like chemicals, batteries, or lightbulbs cannot go in regular trash or bulk collection.
Parkland residents must take hazardous items to a Broward County residential drop-off center on designated Saturdays. Centers are open 9 AM – 3 PM on:

- 5490 Reese Rd, Davie
- 5601 W Hallandale Beach Blvd, West Park

Missed Bulk Pickup
If your bulk trash is not collected on your scheduled day:
- Confirm items were placed properly curbside by required dates/times
- Contact Waste Management customer service at 954-974-7500 to report a missed pickup
- Ensure prohibited items were not included in your bulk pile
