Trash and Recycling Guidelines
Braintree provides guidelines on how to properly set out materials for collection:
- Only use the carts issued by the town. Do not use cardboard boxes.
- Carts must be placed 2-3 feet apart with handles facing your home.
- Leave 12 feet overhead clearance above the carts. Do not place near poles or fences.
- Close lids completely so they don’t blow open.
- Weight limit per cart is 50 pounds.
