Trash Collection
- Trash pickup is twice per week on designated days depending on location:
- South of Alameda St: Monday and Thursday
- North of Alameda St: Tuesday and Friday
- Trash carts must be placed curbside by 5:00 AM on collection days.
- Carts should not be placed curbside more than 12 hours before pickup.
- Waste must be bagged inside carts to prevent litter.
- No hazardous materials, liquids, construction debris in trash carts.
Recycling Collection
- Recycling is collected weekly on Wednesday.
- Recycling carts must be placed curbside by 8:00 AM on collection day.
- All recyclables must be loose inside carts – no plastic bags.
Accepted Recyclables:
- Cardboard
- Paper
- Plastic containers
- Glass
- Metal cans
- Aluminum
Bulk Trash
- Bulk item pickup must be scheduled and paid for in advance.
- Fees:
- Full truckload: $150.84
- Half truckload: $79.79
- Quarter truckload or less: $37.71
Yard Waste
- Collected weekly on same day as recycling
- Must follow yard waste collection regulations
Holiday Schedule
No collection on major holidays. Trash pickup moves to the next day until the end of that week.

- Thanksgiving Day

Recycling Center
Roswell residents can drop off recyclables and household hazardous waste at the Roswell Recycling Center:
- All curbside recyclables accepted
- Fluorescent bulbs, electronics, appliances
- Paint recycling for a fee
- Shredding services for a fee
Hazardous Waste
Household hazardous waste collection events are held twice per year, usually in March and November. See schedule for upcoming events.
