EDCO Collection Day Lookups for Residents
To find your home’s trash, recycling, and green waste collection schedule:

Go to the EDCO website at edcodisposal.com

Select your service area from the dropdown menu options

Choose “Service Schedules” from the menu

Click on “Collection Day Lookup”

Click “Lookup”
You’ll then see your weekly pickup days for:

Trash and Recycling Pickup Schedules by City
EDCO collection schedules can vary slightly by community. Here are some key details:
San Diego County
- Trash – Weekly pickup
- Recycling – Weekly or biweekly pickup
- Green Waste – Weekly pickup
San Marcos
- Trash – Weekly pickup
- Recycling – Biweekly pickup
- Green Waste – Weekly pickup
Other Service Areas
- Trash – Weekly pickup
- Recycling – Biweekly pickup
- Green Waste – Weekly or biweekly pickup

Holiday Collection Schedule Changes
Trash and recycling collection is delayed by one day on certain holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
So if your normal pickup is on Monday, it moves to Tuesday after a holiday.
Visit the EDCO holiday schedule page to see adjusted dates. Collection is NOT delayed when holidays fall on Saturday.
Set bins out on your normal days for MLK Day, President’s Day, and other minor holidays.
Missed Pickups
If EDCO misses your scheduled trash, recycling, or green waste pickup:

Double check your collection calendar for the correct scheduled date.

If they missed the scheduled date, report the missed pickup right away:

- Provide details on the missed pickup day, materials not collected, and service address.
EDCO will dispatch a truck to collect your bins within 24 hours of the report.
