Trash Collection Schedule
- Trash is collected once per week on a designated weekday based on your home’s zone.
- There are 10 trash collection zones covering the city.
- Use the online lookup tool or zone map to find your assigned collection day.
- Trash carts must be placed at the curb by 7:00am on your pickup day.
Recycling Collection Schedule
- Recycling is collected biweekly on a designated weekday based on your home’s zone.
- There are 5 recycling collection zones covering the city.
- Download the recycling collection calendar to view your pickup dates.
- Recycling carts must be placed at the curb by 7:00am on your pickup day.
Holiday Schedule Changes
If your normal trash or recycling day falls on a major holiday, pickup is delayed by one day that week. Major holidays impacting service are:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Collection resumes on a normal schedule the week following a holiday.
Bulk Item Collection
- Bulk items like furniture can be disposed of on your normal trash day.
- Place bulk items at the curb next to your trash cart.
- Bulk item collection is limited to 2 cubic yards.
- Mattresses and box springs must be wrapped in plastic.
Yard Waste Collection
- Yard waste is collected seasonally from April to November.
- Use brown paper bags or rigid containers marked “Yard Waste.”
- Grass clippings, leaves, brush and tree trimmings 4 feet or less are accepted.
