Collection Days
- Trash is collected weekly on Mondays or Tuesdays depending on your neighborhood.
- Recycling is collected every other week on Mondays or Tuesdays alternating with trash collection.
- Yard waste is collected weekly from April 1 to November 30 on Mondays or Tuesdays along with trash.

Holiday Schedule
Trash and recycling collection is suspended on these holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
If your regular collection day falls on a holiday, pickup will take place the following day. If your collection day is the day after a holiday, your pickup will not change but may be delayed until later that day.
Collection Guidelines
- All trash must be placed curbside in secure tied bags or trash cans before 6:00am on collection day.
- Recyclables should be placed in bins provided by the township. Do not use plastic bags.
- Yard waste must be in biodegradable bags or reusable containers labeled “yard waste.”
- Bulk items like furniture can be collected by scheduling a pickup.

Hazardous Waste
Hazardous household waste like chemicals, batteries, and CFL bulbs should not be placed with regular trash. The Camden County Sustainability Center accepts these items on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 3pm.

Missed Pickups

Ordering Additional Totes
Residents can purchase additional trash and recycling totes for a one-time $50 payment per tote. Download the additional tote application and mail it with payment to:

Damaged Totes
For trash or recycling totes that are damaged or in need of repair, contact the Public Works department at (856) 424-4422 or submit a service request. Damaged totes will be evaluated and replaced if they cannot be repaired.
Large Item Pickup
To dispose of large items like appliances and furniture that cannot fit in your regular trash, you can use the township’s bulk pickup service. Submit a bulk pickup request and items will be collected on your normal trash day.
