Trash is collected once per week on your assigned collection day.

Trash must be bagged and placed in city-provided roll carts by 7am on collection day.

Extra trash can be dropped off at one of El Paso’s Citizen Collection Stations.
Recycling Collection

Recycling is collected every other week on your assigned day.

Accepted recyclables include:

Plastic bottles, jugs, tubs

Paper, cardboard, cartons

Aluminum and metal cans

Place recyclables loose in your recycling cart – no plastic bags.
Yard Waste Collection

Yard waste is collected weekly on your regular trash day.

Place leaves, grass, and brush in paper yard waste bags, personal containers, or bundles.

Yard waste can also be dropped off at Citizen Collection Stations.
Holiday Schedule

Trash and recycling collection are delayed by one day after these holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Bulky Item Disposal

Large items like furniture and appliances can be disposed of at Citizen Collection Stations.

Request pickup of bulky items by calling (915) 212-6000 for a fee based on number of items.
