Collection Schedule
Trash and recycling are collected once per week on designated collection days. Collection days are determined by location within Flower Mound.

Collection Times
On your scheduled collection day:
- Have carts curbside by 7 AM
- Carts can be placed curbside no earlier than 8 PM the evening before
- Carts must be removed from curbside by 8 AM the morning after collection

Republic Services provides the following trash and recycling services in Flower Mound:
- Weekly trash collection using a 96-gallon cart
- Weekly recycling collection using a 96-gallon cart
- Weekly bulk and brush collection up to 4 cubic yards
- Household hazardous waste and electronic waste collection
- Free monthly disposal of up to 10 cubic yards at the Camelot Landfill with proof of residency
- $1.50 monthly discount for senior citizens aged 65+

- Bundles cannot exceed 40 lbs in weight
Hazardous Waste
- Paint, chemicals, batteries, fluorescent bulbs etc can be disposed of through Republic Services
- Use the At Your Door Special Collection program
- Schedule collection online or by phone
Holiday Schedule
If a town holiday falls on a weekday, collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week. The adjusted schedule is:

Rates and Billing
Trash and recycling services are bundled together in utility billing from the Town of Flower Mound.
Effective October 1, 2022:
- Standard rate: $14.87 per month
- Senior citizen rate (65+): $13.24 per month
These rates include 1 trash cart and 1 recycling cart.
Additional cart fees:
- Extra trash cart: $8.57 per month
- Extra recycling cart: $1.28 per month
