Holiday Schedule Changes
Trash collection is delayed by one day after these holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
If the holiday falls on a Sunday, collection is not impacted.

Set Out Instructions
- Carts should be placed at the curb by 6:00 AM on collection day.
- Carts must be spaced at least 2 feet apart from each other.
- Place carts with wheels against the curb and handles facing your property.
- Do not overfill carts. Lids should fully close.
- Extra trash must be bagged – do not leave loose trash.
Bulk Item Pickup
- Bulk items like furniture are collected on your regular collection day.
- Call EDCO at least 24 hours before your pickup day to schedule.
- Items should be placed at the curb next to trash carts.
- Limit of 5 items per collection.
Christmas Tree Collection
- Christmas trees are collected for free the first 2 weeks of January.
- Place tree next to trash cart on your collection day.
- Remove all decorations and stands. Trees over 6 ft must be cut in half.
