Trash Collection

Trash is collected weekly on designated days by neighborhood. Find your collection day on the sanitation map.

Trash must be bagged and fully contained inside provided roll carts with lids closed. Items outside carts will not be collected.

Standard cart size is 96 gallons. Smaller carts are available for seniors/disabled upon request.

Carts should be placed curbside by 8am on collection days with wheels/handles away from the street.

Up to 10 bags/bundles of yard waste and 3 bulky items can also be set out weekly.

Construction debris, hazardous items, and loose trash must be inside carts.

Recycling Collection

Recycling is collected weekly on the same day as trash. Check the collection map for your designated day.

Accepted recyclables include paper, cardboard, aluminum cans, steel cans, and plastics #1-2. No glass.

Recyclables must be clean, dry, and loose in bins – not bagged.

Extra recyclables can be placed in cardboard boxes beside carts. Do not leave loose on ground.

Collection Guidelines

Carts must be placed curbside by 8am on collection days with 4 feet clearance from other objects.

Only materials inside carts will be collected. Items on ground will not be picked up.

Do not overfill carts. Bag all trash to prevent leaks. Close lids completely.

Limit yard waste and bulky items to amounts crew can safely manage.

Hazardous items like chemicals or batteries cannot be collected with regular trash.

Carts should be removed from curb by 8am the day after collection.

Bulky & Brush Disposal

Up to 3 bulky items can be set curbside weekly. Appliances must be emptied of fluids first.

Use a private hauler for large volumes of bulky items or brush. Rent a temporary dumpster.

Take bulky items/brush to the Transfer Station on Saturdays 8am-12pm.
Hazardous Waste Disposal

Household hazardous waste must be taken to the County Facility on Tues/Thurs/Saturdays.

Medications can be disposed of in drop boxes at the Sheriff’s Office.

Used sharps should be placed in a sealed puncture-proof container before trashing.
